Before I had children I always used to get up and go Christmas Shopping on Black Friday. I really enjoyed the excitement around the start of the Christmas season. Then, we had Twins..leaving the house became a challenge for anything, and much less practical since there were two little people to take care of. Those twins are now 14, and these days are a different busy and come with different attention requirement as we check ical feeds and make sure we get everyone where they need to be, but we aren’t changing diapers, so we’ve got that going for us. I just dropped my son off at his 8:30 am Black Friday hockey practice. This Black Friday I will get to do some shopping. It is my wife’s birthday and we have a fun afternoon and evening planned, which will include some holiday shopping as we start off our Christmas season.
